The Aum Parvat and Jyolingkong (also known as Adi Kailash, Little Kailash, Jonglingkong Peak, Baba Kailash, Chhota Kailash) is an ancient holy Hindu mountain in the Himalayan mountain range, lying in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Its appearance is distinctly similar to Mount Kailash in Tibet. The trek starts near Pangu India and goes via Budi, Shialek, Garbyang, Gunji, Nampha, Nabi dhang, Kuti, and Kala paani. It is joined with the Darma valley via the Shin La pass. This is a slightly tougher trek and being of a longer duration, the trek requires careful planning and detailed analysis keeping in mind the needs of the trekking. Further details of these treks can be discussed by further correspondence.
Kali temple at Kalapani is a very auspicious place and is 14 kms from Aum Parvat. Aum Parvat is on the way to Kailash Manasarover and the snow deposition pattern gives the impression of the Hindu sacred syllable 'AUM' (ॐ) written on it. This majestic letter ॐ clearly stands out when the snow starts melting at the end of the winter season. It is considered very scred.
Sumchuma near Adi Kailash is a miracle stream which flows every three days and halts for three days in a continous circle throughout the year.
Aachri Taal, Parvati Sarovar and Gauri Kund are some of the very auspicious and pristine water bodies in these regions.
